This place generally has decent food but literally smells like garbage. There is a dumpster near by but I'm convinced the the over-whelming trash smell is actually coming from the inside. It's a mix of rotting trash and/or sewage. If I recall right, the floors in this place are un-finished concrete. Concrete is extremely porous and holds bacteria especially when it is not located in direct sun-light. In newer restaurants I'm pretty sure it's a health violation to have un-finished floors because they can't be cleaned properly. Also, although I have personally never seen one, according to some other reviews, there is certainly a consensus that this place is infested with roaches. It is possible for a restaurant to have really good food but be less than clean, or, be really clean but have mediocre food, just not BOTH. You can't have mediocre food AND have your restaurant smell worse than the dumpster sitting next to it.

I was here about 1 year ago forgot to write a review. All in all this place seemed like it was going to be fun and yummy and really it wasn't. First off the restaurant is way too small . Forget the face of having your own table with one one or your family you might as well enjoy your meal with the whole place considering the fact the back of your chair meets theirs and you have to constantly suck it in to let the waitresses walk on by. Food was ehh. Nothing to brag about. Place was loud though that's no issue for me. The only "cool" thing is that when your seated your table has a huge sheet of paper laid out and crayons and its like you can create a master piece while waiting for your food or play tictactoe with someone to pass Time. But all in all no wont find myself coming back here . Idk nothing about this place would make me want to come back especially being that to me it's in the middle of no where.

ROACHES. You have roaches people. Not the "this is Florida and you will see an occasional bug" kind of roaches, but rather the "I will chew your head off and and body slam you with one antenna" kind of roaches. On our recent visit the staff was obviously very accustomed to dealing with the problem based on the NO REACTION when asked to get rid of the 56 pound sucker that was crawling on the wall behind our table. The sound of him being crunched under the hostesses Sketchers really added to the enjoyment of my salad that I was served 2 minutes later. Your chicken is dry too.

Well, from the time we walk into this place with a party of 8, we were not sensing the desire to want to help us out. We get a table and our waitress appeared to be new and did not know much about their own menu and ingredients. We had to ask multiple times for beverages, which eventually showed up. Each kids order came out with wrong sides, we had one person request no bacon in the salad, and the salad showed up with bacon. The steaks finally came to the table and only one person ordered 7 oz. steak, this happened to be the only steak prepared properly. The other steaks (supposed to be 11oz) were extremely over cooked, one of the steaks was the exact same size as the other 7oz steak on the table and was supposed to be 11oz. When we questioned the waitress, she said the cooks confirmed that the steak was 11oz, it clearly wasn't (which the waitress even said she wished she could do something but the cook apparently was final say --what?!!!). On this plate the potato was supposed to be loaded, it only contained butter. The waitress went to the kitchen and we could see the cook throw some bacon on the "11oz" steak and send it back. This person in my party told them then to keep the steak and did not eat. The other two steaks came out well done, when I asked for rare steak and the other supposed to be medium. At the end of all of this, nobody came to talk to us, there wasnt a manager in sight. I guess local customer retention is NOT a priority for this business. We, along with the rest of our party will not be back to this establishment.

Was not happy at all. I have always heard good things about this place. The bar had a rank foul smell. My sirloin was just okay thought it would be better. For a steak place I had high expectations. I also got scallops which some of them tasted girty and fishy. Expected a lot better. Liked the history of the place. Salad was good to.

Horrible smell when we walked in. Left immediately. Was with a group and they wanted to try bubba's . We went along to give them another shot. Menu was filthy. Won't go back.

Roaches and more: This was the second time to visit Bubba's, the first was just okay, but today it was terrible. This is the "off-season" so there was only one other couple in the restaurant but it took over 30 minutes just to get out meal. The hygiene was the main problem. I saw our waitress carrying the soup ladles under her arm and the chef tried to check if my wife's steak was cooked enough by giving it a thump with his un-gloved hand. However, the final straw was the roach climbing down the glass in front of the grill--I guess he was trying to escape like we were hoping to do. As far as the meal itself, they were out of Heineken so I had a Corona but wasn't offered a glass. My wife had to ask for water and I wasn't offered any. The soup was very good but the steak my wife had was raw and had to be sent back--plus it had no seasoning. My sea scallops were rubbery and had no taste. My wife's green beans were not cooked and we were offered no bread so when I ask for bread I was given two cold corn muffins. Needless to say, we won't be going back.

excuse me mr roach that's my peanut bucket. And I waited 10 minutes for a drink so you need to climb back up the wall & wait your turn. Oh no worries the wait staff didn't care you were above our table and watching us eat. I'd send my steak back but afraid since I wanted medium and got it well done what would I get?? Beef jerky or ? Ok so mr roach on the wall no staff cares about here is a stale biscuit they served us sorry if it breaks your teeth if you have teeth.

Listen. I'm a restaurant snob and I have been put in place! Bubba's was amazing!! The portions were huge, the salad was cold and had everything in it! Chicken fried chicken was perfect! I'll be back. Never heard or been to this place, but I'm coming back!

Had to wait a while for a hostess to even greet us. Then we got to the table, waited a long time, no sevice. A roach then crawled on my husband's leg. Left without ordering after that. This place was bizarre.

Everything we tried on the Early Bird Special Menu was delicious. Peanut shells went on the floor, huge salad with everything in it, half rack of ribs and half a chicken with an up charged loaded baked potato and Wow oh wow was it loaded! Sweet tea so sweet I called it desert! We each ate half & took the other half home for later.. Did I mention the salads were incredibly delicious? We live down the street and couldn't be happier to call this our new favorite roadhouse..

2 stars awarded solely due to waitress Tina. After an hour wait for a table (quoted 45 minutes) on a Saturday night - given, we knew it would be a while - our meal was overwhelmingly mediocre. We sat in the cramped bar while waiting for a table and tried to watch the Olympic coverage but the TVs had a lot of issues. This review would've been just 1 star without the efforts of our dining room server. We thought we'd be safest with beef at this joint so settled on two prime ribs and one sirloin steak. The sirloin was the only thing out of all the dishes served (apps, entrees and sides) that was actually good. The prime ribs were very fatty and chewy, well past the medium-rare that was allegedly coming out of the kitchen, the baked potato "tasted like it was perfectly cooked at 9:00 this morning" and the smashed potatoes .... still trying to figure out what was going on with those - maybe white pepper, but definitely not worth finishing. The house salad was generous in portion but very lackluster, mainly made up of huge chunks of virtually frozen iceberg, a massive ring of onion, a few shreds of carrot, one sad chunk of tomato and what appeared to be Bac-Os. As mentioned our waitress saved the day; although she was very busy she stopped by several times and was very patient to answer questions and wait for our decisions (which ultimately didn't really matter since everything was seriously mediocre). Thankfully cocktail pours were generous. Our party of 3 people was there for almost 3 hours between the wait time and the meal, and we were all too happy to leave. The decor is ... interesting; the bathrooms definitely could use more attention and some updating and the whole place seemed moist and rather mildewy. Tables are packed in to the point that you can't really move without bumping into someone at an adjoining table both in the bar and the dining room. Overall nothing downright disgusting and our bill didn't break the bank, but definitely not worth a return visit. Won't be adding this to our rotation.

Very good daily specials. They have a decent sized dinning area and a bar area that is separate with a small stage for live music. They have an amazing table side salad with homemade ranch. Between that and a side of cornbread your full before you get your meal lol. My only complaint is that it is a little dark but it adds to the atmosphere of a real roadhouse style restaurant.

Interesting interior with peanut shells on the floor and markings on all the bricks. But the food is less than average, the Moscow mule was not good (hard to mess up), and the service was not good. Waitress wasn't rude but this seemed like her weekend job while she goes to high school.

Bubba's is a good place for a nice, thick steak at a reasonable price. In Season, this place is packed constantly, so you've got to get here early or get take out. Thankfully, once the seasonal residents clear out, it's a pretty nice place to get a big meal. The service is usually pretty good, but when they are busy, you've gotta feel for these servers. You may have a bit of a wait. Overall, this is my occasional stop when I want a good steak.

Exciting place. Good music and good atmosphere. Something special I would say. Waitress nice and friendly. Had a Sirloin steak 7 oz with mashed potatoes and salad. Steak was not as good as I would have expected. I would say it was a bit tough. Salad was prepared at the table. All in all food worth 2-3 stars only. But as atmosphere is special 4 in total.

This is an amazing restaurant! It's very rustic and you can throw your peanut shells on the floor. My husband and I ordered the cheese fries for an app and the fries were fresh cut. I had the bbq chicken and ribs combo. It came with a tossed salad that is refillable. Their ranch dressing is delish. They have jalapeño corn muffins and they are fresh and yummy too. The ribs were fall of the bone good. Loaded baked potato was large. My husband got a 1lb cheeseburger. It was juicy and you could add any topping you wanted. We will definitely be back because the food and service was awesome!

We just got here. Food must be great because we had a 45 minute wait. After we found our way to the bar... The only place that's first come first serve... We found a table in the back. Service was pretty good and I'd say great due to the amount of patrons. The beer my brother ordered was flat. I ordered the fried shrimp and sirloin. The shrimp was a little tuff but decent and the steak was not even edible. They cooked a fabulous baked potato tho. Thank God because I was starving. So much for a night with out cooking dinner... I still need to eat, maybe I'll grab fast food.

Came here for a late lunch, early dinner. As soon as we walked in the smell of the meat grilling was awesome. The decor is rustic, nice cozy feeling once inside with plenty tables, dark wood tones and an open kitchen. Our server at first had an attitude and we were turned off but then we realized she was just busy and trying to keep up with all of her tables. We all ordered steaks which come with a nice salad that they toss table side. The salad was very tasty and fresh. The biscuits were excellent. Stay away from them otherwise you will not be able to eat your meal. My Fillet Mignon was cooked perfectly, good flavor and the baked potato was great. Everyone enjoyed their meal very much. The prices were reasonable for a steakhouse. We did enjoy our meal here and the atmosphere was really cool, like your dining at your own home. Good food, decent service. Nice place to check out if your in the area.

We've driven by for years so on this night we stopped by.. Big mistake as soon as we walked in the smell of waste water..the very rude hostess said 30 min wait..even though there were only 3 couples ahead of us..while waiting you could but notice the Filth of this place dirty grease fans and decor..the floor covered with so much peanut shells it looks like it's never been sweepted ..we were called to our table 15min. We sat under a TV which was on a greasy dirty rack next to the table was a Furnace with dirty filters REALLY ! We ordered Rack Ribs ~Really Fatty not much meat. But good smoked flavor. Beef Tips W/Grilled onions and Mushrooms (To much Garlic Powder) our Entree's came with chilled Salad which was the best part of the meal After dinner I went to the wash room passed by the Bar which looked filthy and the smell was worse..I won't be back :(

Place was packed, 1/2 hour wait eating free peanuts. I ordered ribs and the wife had brisket. Ribs were tough gristle and fat. The Jalapeno biscuits were too hot and impossible for me to eat. Waitress said she would bring Texas toast as a substitute. Never came. Guess she sent off to Texas for that one. Altogether just so so.

Okay people of the interweb, I had a bad experience and now I get to tell all of you about it, because I know how much everybody cares what everybody else thinks, be sure to like or compliment me, it makes me so happy!!!!! - sarcasm... okay so for real, I have been to this place maybe 6/7 times, twice they have screwed up major, once on my birthday they screwed my steak up twice, that alone should have been enough to not go back, but having had so many other good experiences and friends living 5 minutes from there compared to my 30 minutes, I go back. Tonight was my final visit to Bubba's, our 7:30 reservation was seated on time, we gave our drink order and meal order at the same time and didn't hear from the 'senior citizen' waitress for 30 minutes, no joke, I mean it may have been 29 or 27 even, probably not 31, but ya, it wasn't really 10 and I'm saying 30. So she brought over our salad, which she of course screwed up (part of the reason I go there is for the salad) she didn't even realize we didn't have the water we ordered 30 minutes ago, I had to tell her, so 5 minutes later she brought it, the 90% batter 10% onion onion rings came out shortly after the water did, thankfully they didn't bring the food too quick or it all would have gone back instead of just mine, why just mine you continue to read because of the suspense, RAW MEAT, WOOO, OH YA, I SAID IT, RAWWWWW GROUNDDDD BEEEEEEF, so ya, the chopped sirloin I guess it's called, one bite in I thought it was maybe rare (ordered mid rare) but it was uncooked, the way I revealed it to the manager was great because I got to turn my phone flashlight onto it because it was so dark, so I was all like ... I'm not a grill master but to me ... flashlight on ... this is uncooked/raw ... manager agreed, wanted to take it back but I was full from the awful onion rings I told them to keep it and just charge me for the salad, in true manager style she comped the salad, the smart thing would have been to comp the meal and bring it back out, but I guess she and the server weren't that smart, I didn't mention the onion rings sucked but they should have taken them off too, but hey, the world needs dumb people to make the smart ones feel so smart. The place was pretty full when we sat down but pretty much empty 90 minutes later when we left, although we should have been out within an hour. Like I said, it's great when it's good, but the bad always outweighs the good.

After months of driving by Bubba's, with the sweet aroma of bar-b-que wafting into my vehicle each time I passed I finally gave in to my craving for delicious ribs dripping with tangy sauce and decided to stop. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was not the wonderful aroma of smoked meats, but a sickening smell something like clorox and pine-sol mixed together. I almost couldn't get past it - but my craving for the ribs rose above it and I continued to the table where I ordered a rack of ribs and oh -- they had cornbread. I was really anticipating my meal, When I tasted the ribs they didn't have the sweet and tangy sauce I had imagined - they were different-- and I really didn't care for them. And my cornbread- well let's just say it wasn't like my homemade cornbread with real butter. It was a disappointing meal. If someone here in Fort Myers can recommend a GREAT bar-b-que joint with real lip-smacking good ribs -- and a place with HOMEMADE cornbread with real BUTTER I would love to know about it. I won't be going back for the food at Bubba's.

This was fun! My husband and mom and I came for dinner. Prime rib with huge baked potato was the best of the three meals. Grilled scallops and garlic mashed potatoes were unremarkable but tasty and a nice alternative to meaty options. Bubbas Ribeye was a little on the dry side and the baked potato my husband received was a little gray and glassy. Corn muffins are sweet and spicy - delicious and Southern (I grew up with Jiffy cornbread mix). Salad is an awesome touch... total roadhouse: iceberg lettuce, cheese, hardboiled eggs, carrots, tomato wedge, onion slice, and your coice of three dressings. Our waitress, Ivy: she's lovely. She worked hard for us, was friendly and attentive. I can't imagine anyone goes to a place called "Bubba's Road House" looking for spotlessness and 5 star cusine. This place is perfect within its genre.

i have always enjoyed the food, but the on-line pickup orders needs alot of work for improvement . The last four times I have ordered something in my meal was missing or incorrect. They constantly put italian dressing in place of balsamic vinegar, i did not get the muffins in one of my orders and then tonight i waited about 25 minutes to pickup the order and no one seemed to think that it was necessary to tell me rhey were runnning behind or my order never went through. I just decided to leave after the poor customer service. The food is enjoyable, but the service part is lacking very so.I went directly to Outbacks afterward and probably will do so more now.(they seem to care about customer service part of a buisness)

Never again! Getting 1 star only because there are no negative star ratings. Fish and chips were like an oil sponge with a very small piece of fish in the middle. Fries were soggy giant pieces of oil drenched hell! The award-winning baby back ribs were served cold and drenched in BBQ sauce. When we were leaving, we stopped by the grill station and the cook had a dirty metal lunch tray over the steaks he was cooking, yikes, can anyone say health department please! This place is a tourist trap! Epic Fail!! P.S. When offered the soup, just say no, you can get your own canned soup in the supermarket.

WHHHHOOOOOO HAAAA. I was surprise about this place. A dive bar but good for the family. The prices are very reasonable for the portions. I got a appetizer of 1/2 order of onion rings. I was served 2 "softball/grapefruit" size rings sliced in half. Crispy and deliessh with ranch dressing. It too big for one person to eat. I got a doggy bag The salad was mixed at my table a nice helping in a chilled metal bowl. A couple of corn muffins w/butter. My baked potato was hefty, lots of sour cream butter & chives. The sirloin was cooked to perfection of medium rare over a wood-burning stove. You can taste the smoke. Ahhh the bartender not knowing my drink followed my directions and gave me a strong and tasty libation. I must mention my server Crystal. She was attentive, delightful ,and entertaining. I will surly try this place again. It on the outskirts of the city but worth the drive.

When you walk to the entryway into this establishment, you are overwhelmed by the rotten smell of trash that you need to fight off gag reflex. We thought it was an animal rotting nearby in the woods, but it wasn't. Unfortunately, the smell carried throughout the restaurant and as one at the table ordered the special at dinner (beef tips) and it may be the origination of what was rotting. I LOVE BBQ, but would have expected a full BBQ sampler on the menu. Ended up ordering a NY Strip. A salad was prepared table side and lettuce was wilted and bland. Steak came the taste was ok. I do like their sauces but couldn't wait to leave to get away from the smell. I think they need to clean and sanitize their establishment and the have a visit from the health dept

  • Kathy F.

In general, the food was good. I especially liked the shrimp jammers. I always enjoy their bottomless salad. Today we had steak, grilled chicken and salmon. Not spectacular, but good. The main complaint I have is in the cleanliness of the place. Large cobwebs hanging from ceilings. Dust, mold and dirt caked on ceiling fan blades. They need to do some series cleaning. If the restaurant area is that bad, I worry about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Going back over two years in the reviews, cleanliness is mentioned frequently. That's not a good thing!

  • Rachel G.

Decent food, nothing to write home about. I've been here twice, and both times there's been an odd odor. While waiting for a table, two other patrons, separately said the same thing. Something like a dirty dish rag, and old beer. The service was pretty good, and wait time was under a half hour on a Friday.

  • David O.

I have been coming here for 15 years. The lunch is horrible and the service is consistently even worse. Just left here 20 minutes ago and I am disgusted. I am not going back again. Every time we go back there is a problem with the food. They can never cook our steak correctly! The waitresses are like deer in headlights. I really enjoyed coming here years ago but its just constant disappointment lately. If you are going to dine here make sure you don't go for lunch because you will wait a long time before your even waited on!

They must have been having an off-day. Had a reservation but still had to wait 45 minutes to get a table and then after getting seated and ordering another 45 minutes to get our food. Our waitress was very nice and all smiles but not sure she communicated with the kitchen too well. Lots of food for the money but not much flavor. Exception: the tossed salad was exceptional! The place was a little dirty for my taste but the deal breaker was the filthy air handler with duct work against the wall in the dining room. Not only unsightly but I'm surprised the health department hasn't cited them for food safety issues. Very busy, loud and cramped, had to almost yell across the table to be heard at times. Too many other "nicer" places in the area to have dinner. I won't go back.

Just left bubbas with my parents and brothers. I normally really like this place, but this time killed it for me. We walk in and give our name to some rude hostess and are told 20 mins for the wait time. We end up waiting one hour. While waiting some other guests waiting in line notice that the hostesses took a 20 dollar bill from someone to get a table fast that just walked in. So after we get our table it takes 15 mins to get our water and put in our order. After another 15 mins we are told that their computer was down so it's gonna be a while longer for our appetizer...oh and I forgot to mention our server was this young brunette girl named Rachel who was one of the worst servers there. Normally we won't mind waiting but when you are waiting and you have a totally unapologetic server, it doesn't help. After we eat our food we ask for a box, wait another 15 mins so I have to get up and I find the to go boxes myself. On top of that it takes another 10 minutes to get our check which my dad had to go up to the kitchen to get. So in all we were in bubbas for 2 long hours. No apology from Rachel too FYI. I understand that Bubbas is not a fine dining restaurant, but I wouldn't even expect that kind of horrible service from here.It seems like a lack of management or training going on here. You think they would step it up a bit during season. NOPE.

Here's the deal with Bubba's, it's very popular. Depending on what time you go, you're going to either have a fantastic meal and great service or wait forever for a table, have swamped wait staff, cooks and perhaps be a bit disappointed. The boss needs to expand that garage and/or run off-hour specials. I try to get in there before 5pm and pretty much stay away Feb and March. I'm always very pleased.

We had good food and lots of it at a reasonable price. The only thing I did not like was the "bubba's fries" [long french fries], which were undercooked. The service was OK, not the fastest, but not the slowest. Our food, [brisket, chicken, ribs] was very good. The ribs were falling off the bone. The brisket was tender. Had to ask for more sauce, but that came quickly. Will definitely go back.

It's been a long time since I've been a place this dirty - there was a chewed rib bone on the floor next to my daughter's chair and the bathroom was filthy. The waitress was very nice and the service was fine. The steak was a good deal for the money, the roasted chicken was unremarkable, salads were ok. If you want to go to a dive bar, fine, perfect for that. Not a place I want to go for a meal.

Went there for the Wednesday night baby back rib special. Bring your big boy pants and be prepared to wait, which for us a table of four was about an hour. Salad is huge and very good our table had a mixture of house salad with ranch, which is prepared table side and Cesar which was kitchen prepared. I would recommend both a good choices. The ribs were good although because we were there towards the end of the night some didn't seem as tender as the others Bubbas has good food at reasonable prices

1/177/12. I don't get all the fuss or the crowd at this place . It's not that ggod. I had an excellent salad and baked potato but, the ribs weren't good. At a southern BBQ joint you expect really good ribs. My wife's roast beef wasn't any better. Stick with the salad.

  • Average Joe Review S.

Service- No waiting for a table and an appropriate wait for all aspects of the meal. Nothing spectacular or notable either way. Average. I would rate this category as a 3 of 5 points. Atmosphere- Temperature was appropriate at torso level but we were seated right next to a rusted out garage door where hot air and insects were making their way in. Although the decor seemed appropriate for a roadhouse, the customer markings all over the walls has taken away any attempt at classiness as well as the rusted door may have violated some health dept. codes. The music was suitable for the genre and at an appropriate level. There was an overwhelming smell not unlike that of roadkill that proved to be a distraction the entire meal. I would rate this category as a 1 of 5 points. Food- The fried, green tomatoes were very fresh and tasty! Highlight of the whole meal. My meatloaf was definitely undercooked and the gravy had a..... musty, fermented taste to it. On the other hand, the cheeseburger was very tasty and the trimmings were very fresh. I would rate this category as a 3 of 5 points. Portions- Both our meals could easily feed two, maybe three people. The portions were extremely large. Very indicative for the roadhouse genre. The drinks were presented in the large, tall, blue tinted Coca Cola glasses. You are definitely going to have leftovers on this one. Good for larger parties. I would rate this category as a 4 of 5 points. Value- Our bill came to about $25. The value was excellent as the price was about average for 2 people but the portions could easily feed 4 or even 5 people. I would rate this category as a 4 of 5 points. Overall score is a 15 which puts it at the top end of average. I would barely recommend a return on this establishment though, only if you order a burger and get seated in a booth. Thank you for checking out my reviews! Just wanted to inform you, the internet surfer, that I am about as average as an average person can be. I am of average height and weight with an average appetite on an average budget. My reviews are meant to be informative and honest but not cruel and personal. There may be, on occasion, some brutal commentary but only if absolutely necessary in the interests of informing the potential customer of gross neglect or misconduct of the establishment. Likewise, praise may be extremely high and credit earned where credit is due. Any comments or recommendations on how to improve my ratings is absolutely welcomed and appreciated. Here is just a handy guide to inform you of the categories and scoring system I use for my reviews. I judge restaurants on five categories: 1. Service- I feel that a server should visit you at least 6-8 times in an hour. I base this number on the timeliness of certain events that occur at most dining settings. These events include seating to drinks, drinks to ordering, ordering to food served, food served to payment and payment to departure. 2. Atmosphere- The atmosphere/ ambience is based on the four of the five senses. The temperature, smell, music and genre or decor. 3. Food- I base my reviews in this category on taste, freshness and presentation. 4. Portions- This category is based on the size of the meal and the quantity and availability of condiments such as salad dressing, sugar, salt, pepper, etc. An average portion size is considered about the size of your fist so that is what I will be basing my review on. 5. Value- I consider value as how much food you get for the price. I think most average restaurants price a meal between $10 and $15. As an example, an average portioned meal for two people should run about $20 to $30. Average Joe Reviews uses a scoring system for each category which is then added to determine a final score. The ratings are on a scale from 1 to five for each category, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. When points are totalled for each category, the final score shows as follows: 5 points = Worst. No review can be lower than this according to the scoring system but I may comment that it could be. No return visit would definitely be recommended. 6-10 points = Below average. No return visit would be recommended but would advise the customer to return as their personal preference dictates. 11-15 points = Average. Always a recommendation for a return visit. Let me note that I do not consider this rating as negative in any way. 16-20 points= Above average. Always a recommendation for a return visit. 21-24 points = Nearly perfect. Always a recommendation for a return visit. This is not a perfect rating but it's close and has some room for improvement but doesn't necessarily need it. 25 points= Perfect! A perfect score in all categories! Always a recommendation for a return visit. In the Yelp! Star scores, my reviews will show anything from 21 points or higher as 5 stars. Let it be said, this rating would be nearly impossible to achieve.

Meh..... Loud with mediocre barbeque. But they let you trash the place with peanut shells if that's your thing, and you get to take home the enormous margarita glass

I have eaten here 10 times or more and only had one meal (prime rib) that was not cooked properly. They offer a nice variety on their menu. HUGE portions. Fun filled atmosphere. I love the live music. Musicians are often talented such as the one on 1/5/13. Sorry, don't know his name. It is nice to see a place that hires real musicians instead of entertainers billed as live music, but really singing to Karaoke backing tracks. The servers are consistently attentive. The food is consistently good (sans the exception listed above). They offer great value for money. If you leave there hungry, there is a real problem. I always leave with leftover dinner for the next night or two! Keep up the great work Bubba's!

No place does dive bars better than Florida. The food was good with large portions and the drinks inexpensive. If you like dive bars, this is a place you need to visit.

Salad was good. Waiter(tress) tosses it in front of you. Could've done without the hardboiled egg in the salad. Their Italian dressing is decent. The jalapeño corn muffins were fantastic with butter and would have been even better if they were warm or hot. I had the salmon (grilled) with French fries. The fries were a little soggy and the salmon was ok. Looked like a piece of salmon you can purchase at the store that is vacuum packed. Wouldn't recommend wearing flipflops there due to peanuts everywhere on the floor (this isn't a complaint just advice). I gave it three stars because it was good but wouldn't go again. The atmosphere was fun though, very different

Great burger at good price. It's a little funky but everything you would want in a Florida dive.

We went for a late lunch and the place was mostly empty. Waitress arrived, very friendly and seated us immediately. We were given a bowl of salted peanuts and encouraged to toss the shells on the floor. The menu was so dirty I didn't want to touch it. I worked my way past that and ordered the wood fired chicken. Salad came in a steel bowl and was mixed at the table....big salad....ok taste. Chicken came shortly after and was under cooked and cold. Baked sweet potato was old and came with a brownish smear of some kind of topping....couldn't eat it. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich and fries. Fries were soggy and burned on the ends. Seemed like they had been cooked the day before and micro waved to add some heat. The chicken was overcooked and dry....basically inedible. The portions were huge and the prices low but certainly didn't make up for the lack of taste. The place has potential but we won't be back.... The reviews appear mixed so maybe when it's busy the food is cooked fresh.

Tried the giant onion rings. The onions inside we're tender but the breading was not even able to be chewed. The worst I have ever had! Teenager wouldn't eat the French fries . Steak had tons of char on it as though the grill needed to be cleaned. Salad was lost in a sea of dressing. Baked sweet potato inedible it was so overlooked. Overall other than slow but pleasant service an all time low.

Pine Island Rd classic. Peanuts on the floor, excellent steaks, the salads are meaty and phenomenal, also a bar. It's a road house, anyone who complains about that is missing the point.

What a place. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Not the cleanest place in the world, as some of the reviews allude to, but what would you expect at a place called "Bubba's" that serves you peanuts in a cardboard cup and let's you throw the shells on the floor? I personally loved the decor, especially being from the Northeast - it's the type of place that chain restaurants like Texas Roadhouse try to copy, but can't even come close to. This place is an original - real initials carved into the wood, paper tabletops on which you can draw pictures with the crayons they give you, and a one-man acoustic band in the saloon area, belting out Southern favorites from the likes of Skynyrd, the Band, and Townes Van Zandt., to name a few. More importantly, the food was amazing. Even the starter salad was good - they mix it in a metal bowl at the table and serve it to you fresh. But beyond that, the jalapeno cornbread was incredible, the potatoes were cooked perfectly, the chicken was juicy and perfect, and the ribs were to die for. Even the iced tea was good. And the portions - you will probably have enough for lunch the next day. Not only incredible food here, but great value as well. Can't wait to go back to Bubba's!!

I went to a function last week and it was catered by Bubba's Roadhouse! Now I love Bubba's and have eaten there several times. LOVE THE PLACE. However, they have expanded into catering. Got to tell ya folks... it was GREAT!!! So I went online and down loaded the catering menu. Must say, if you are having any kind of function, work, family, church...whatever... call Jay at Bubbas and get a catering quote. It was so good and fresh and OMG! Tell Jay that Mary sent ya!! bubbasroadhouse.net/cate…

Real fun place to eat. Try the Wednesday night special BOGO ribs, but be prepared to wait at least an hour for a table. Steaks are also excellent as are the HUGH margaritas.

There should be several more stars in my opinion for Bubba's!!! We went last night for the first time and we were thrilled with the place. The food was incredible and the portions were huge. Their prices we more than fair too!!! The wait staff was so friendly and the entire place was so happy. Everyone seemed to be having as much FUN as we were. It is just a perfect night out!!! I can not rave about the place enough, You should definitely make a point of going to Bubba's, you will not be disappointed!!! We loved it and will be going back often. I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THE NEXT THING ON THE MENU!!!!
